Data validation and quality control: Validation processes and automated data quality testing
Flexible reporting and analysis: Dashboards and customizable reports enable transparent communication

ESG data is scattered and inconsistent This makes central control of sustainability goals more difficult
Manual reporting processes cause high costs and reduce data quality.
Lack of real-time insights make it difficult to track ESG KPIs and identify risks early.
Complex regulations (CSRD, ESRS, EU taxonomy) endanger compliance and the capital market.
Central ESG data harmonization: Sustainability data bundled in a consistent data model.
Automated data integration and validation: Efficient processes minimize errors and create reliable KPIs
Real-time monitoring & scenario analyses: Full transparency regarding ESG targets and proactive management along the value chain.
Auditable Compliance & Reporting: Ensures regulatory requirements and permanently strengthens investor confidence.

The SCT supports companies in recording and classifying relevant activities according to the requirements of the EU Taxonomy. It thus enables consistent and transparent disclosure of taxonomy-relevant key figures.

The SCT adopts predefined metrics from the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), thus facilitating standard-compliant data collection.

Data can be loaded directly into the SCT from SAP legacy systems such as S/4HANA, either by using existing SCT content packages or through upstream modeling in SAP Datasphere. The SCT also allows uploads from non-SAP systems via Excel uploads or interfaces.
